There was a day in my past that I rarely talk about, yet it shaped me more than most victories I’ve had.
It was a quiet Wednesday, but inside, I was anything but calm. I had just failed a major audit report—a project I poured weeks into. I remember sitting alone at my desk long after everyone had gone home. The weight of disappointment, self-doubt, and anxiety wrapped around me like a fog. I began to question everything: my ability, my choices, even my worth in the team.
But then, something strange happened.
I opened my drawer, looking for a charger, and found a small note I had scribbled months ago:
“Let your faith be bigger than your fear.”
I had written it during another stressful time, but that day, it hit differently. I took a deep breath and decided not to be paralyzed by fear. Instead, I spent the next few days learning from my mistakes, owning up to them, and making the necessary corrections. The report was eventually approved after resubmission, and even more, I earned respect for not giving up.
Faith doesn’t always mean religion—it can mean faith in your skills, in the process, or in the idea that everything you go through has a purpose. That single quote reminded me to believe in something stronger than the fear that was trying to define me.
So today, if you’re standing at the edge of giving up, take a moment. Breathe. Remember:
Let your faith be bigger than your fear.
